Autonomous mobility, right-sized.

The Single Passenger Taxi is a fully enclosed electric cabin for one. Robo Depots charge, clean, inspect and release it. Dubai is the proof city.

Single Passenger Taxi

Built around one person, not five empty seats.

About six in ten ride-hail trips in Dubai already carry one rider. The SPT occupies 3.5 m² against roughly 9 m² for a Camry-class taxi. A sealed, air-conditioned cabin is specified for the UAE climate. The production vehicle is not a converted leisure trike.

Operating model

Availability, not ownership.

Mobility Co leases the SPT as a full-service vehicle-month. The specialist asset — battery, sensors, cabin, software refresh — stays with Hedco. Fleet partners buy uptime, not a new vehicle class they have to invent a workshop for.

01

Lease

Twenty-four months, with a priced option to forty-eight. Residual held at month 48. The vehicle is not sold into the operator’s balance sheet.

02

Service

Charge, wash, inspect and release run through Hedco-operated Robo Depots. The depot JV does not buy SPTs.

03

Refresh

Battery and sensor refresh sit inside the financed asset so the cabin does not age out of a licensed stack mid-contract.

04

Coverage

Insurance and autonomous-vehicle liability intended inside the monthly structure, subject to underwriting and the local regulator.

Infrastructure layer

The depot is part of the vehicle.

A Robo Depot is the operating system of the fleet: energy, cleanliness, light service, inspection, data offload, dispatch release — and, at the city hub, the management node that keeps Level 4 running inside the regulator’s rules. The purpose is utilisation.

Satellite Robo Depot with compact charge bays, a wash arch and a small control room
Dubai year-1 language: assisted satellite. Guided docking, managed charging, camera inspect. Not lights-out.

01

Charge

Managed conductive first. Wireless pads reserved in the slab. Battery swap is out.

02

Wash

Exterior and sensor-face clean between cycles. Tilt must be locked before any arch or arm runs.

03

Inspect

Gantry plus handheld. An attendant, not software, clears a hold.

04

Command

City hub writes the operational record a regulator can read. Satellites are mute without it.

Site type

Satellite

  • 80–120 vehicles
  • Charge, wash, sensor clean, inspect, release
  • 3.5–5.5 MW
  • 4–6 FTE at opening
  • UAE 2026 capex US$3.3–4.2 million

Site type

City hub

  • 150–250 vehicles plus overflow
  • All satellite jobs, plus heavier service, parts, RMCC
  • 6–10 MW
  • 12–18 FTE plus the control room
  • UAE 2026 capex US$7.5–11 million

Dubai launch network is one city hub and two satellites — a 250–350 vehicle first wave. Preferred ownership is an infrastructure JV: partner 55–65 percent, Hedco 35–45 percent, Hedco exclusive operator. Partner brings land and megawatts. We do not promise Dubai as lights-out. We promise Dubai as the site that earns the right to sell lights-out somewhere else.

Later-phase concept only. Hands-free energy and wash is a year-2 add. Lights-out ready is city three onwards — not a Dubai opening claim.

Dubai programme

Evidence before scale.

The production SPT does not exist until cabin, tilt controller and a licensed stack share a VIN. That work is research on converted mules. It is not a purchase order for a finished robotaxi. All running stays inside testing permits.

01 · Now

Twelve-vehicle closed circuit

Convert twelve Korean Cruiser donors into single-seat AV mules. Safety operator present. No fare-paying passenger. No general traffic. Zone 0 and the circuit stay at or under 60 km/h.

02 · Seed layer

Mobility Co and the control room

Entity, remote-management node and Zone 0 tenancy. The mule campaign stays with Hedco Global. The seed does not buy the twelve vehicles.

03 · Gated

Fifteen-vehicle geofenced demo

Corridor demonstration and the class file move only after circuit evidence. 115 km/h is the later class rating, not what the closed circuit will show.

04 · Infrastructure

Depot JV first close

One hub and two satellites. Land and megawatts from the infrastructure partner. Then UAE assembly, later.

2030 context

Dubai’s autonomous mobility ambition

The programme is designed to sit inside the city’s goal for 25 percent of journeys to be autonomous by 2030. That is context, not a claim that Hedco delivers the 25 percent.

Who we are

Vehicle, depot and operating model — designed together.

Hedco Global is a UAE mobility venture. The product is the Single Passenger Taxi. The infrastructure is the Robo Depot. The commercial form is a full-service subscription lease through Mobility Co.

We do not sell “we bring autonomy.” Driverless commercial service is already live in Dubai. The scarce work is a new vehicle class, a cabin a passenger will sit in, and the depot that keeps a specialist fleet ready in 48 °C.

Developed in Dubai.
Proof city first. Second-emirate node later.

Strategic partnership

Build the category, not another sedan.

Three desks, kept separate on purpose. Do not collapse the mule campaign, the Mobility Co seed and the Depot JV into one conversation.

Fleet operators

A solo-trip cabin next to existing robotaxi stock. Lessee and depot customer — not a seed desk.

Infrastructure partners

Land and megawatts for one hub and two satellites. Hedco operates. The JV does not buy vehicles.

Regulators

Closed-circuit request first. Corridor and class file gated on that evidence.
